business of being an artist
Twice a year Visual Art Exchange presents its Business of Being an Artist (BOBAA) series of lectures to educate visual artists and provide them with the tools to become successful. For the first time in April 2011, VAE changed the BOBAA format to a one, all day series of lectures.

photographers’ forum
The Photographers’ Forum meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm at VAE. This group is coordinated by Ray Pfeiffer to be a supportive network for photographers to explore ideas and techniques and offer each other feedback and support. This group is similar in concept and practice to the original Painters’ Forum but geared more toward artists working with abstraction and contemporary concepts and techniques.
