CreativeMornings/Raleigh

CreativeMornings/Raleigh is the Triangle chapter of CreativeMornings, which is headquartered in New York and has a global community that currently numbers more than 180 chapters worldwide.

Our chapter was founded by Matt Tomasulo in 2012, followed by Taylor Medlin. Jonathan Opp became host in 2016. Ours was the first chapter in North Carolina, and today there are chapters in Charlotte and Asheville.

Our guiding principles are an expression of the Manifesto of the broader CreativeMornings organization—Everyone is Creative, Everyone is Welcome. Our chapter is specifically focused on making good on CreativeMornings Manifesto through the hyperlocal supporting of creative initiatives. Our chapter creates community through a talk the last Friday of each month. The talk is planned around a theme chosen globally by one of the chapters in the CreativeMornings global community. The speakers are sought out by our chapter for their ability to speak authentically on a given topic, share process, and create a sense of connection. Please join us at the next talk!
