First Friday Reception: February 3, 6-9pm
Open hanging. Artists will come to the gallery and hang their own work so VAE can showcase the exciting and broad range of art being made in the area. $5 for members, $10 for non-members. 2D and 3D artwork accepted. Works cannot exceed 36″ in any dimension.
Non-juried. Artists may hang 1 artwork.
*Pick up for Open Source is February 24 & 25 from 11am to 4pm.*

Unfettered means free and unrestrained, so anything goes in April. No theme or media restrictions.
Juried with JPEGs by Paul Bright, Assistant Director & Curator, Hanes Art Gallery, Wake Forest University.
Two entries per artist. Entries must be received by March 2.

Scope: The North Carolina Landscape

First Friday Reception: June 1, 6-9pm
Scope will feature interpretations of the varied North Carolina landscape by artists across the state. See the state through the eyes of its artists—the rolling mountains, growing downtown Raleigh skyline, sprawling salt marshes.
Juried with JPEGs. Two entries per artist. Entries must be received by April 15.
