Collector’s Print Portfolio

The 2011 Collector’s Print Porfolio contains the of work by 17 prominent Raleigh artists. Each unique portfolio contains 15 eco-friendly archival 12 x 18″ art prints in a folder silk-screened by AdAm Peele. Each work of art is signed and numbered as a limited edition of 50 and is printed on recycled, acidfree paper by Barefoot Press. The proceeds will underwrite VAE’s extensive exhibitions and education programs for artists.
A limited number of these portfolios will be for sale at VAE for $500 each. The proceeds from the sale of the portfolio will underwrite VAE’s extensive educations programs for artists.
Georges Le Chevallier, the curator of the VAE Collectors Print Portfolio, wanted to “showcase the remarkable and wide-ranging works of the contemporary artists who are shaping Raleigh’s art scene. These prints reflect our complex art community with a plethora of philosophies, themes and styles: The participating artists are originally from the United States, Germany, France, Puerto Rico, England, and South Korea.” Further, Georges says “I am extremely honored to work with such distinguished artists in such a unique project as I find their work exhilarating, inspiring and thought-provoking. Not only does the VAE Collectors Print Portfolio present the most exciting artists working in Raleigh today, but it also illustrates the camaraderie that exists within the city’s art community.”
